Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) conference
A seminar took place on 12 October 2004 at Wilton House to inform deaf and hard of hearing people of their rights under the DDA.
Simon Robinson, Legal Officer in the RNID casework team, gave a presentation on the DDA and Claire Mullan, Campaigns Coordinator, provided information on the Campaigns Network.
Citizens Advice workers were available to offer advice on discrimination and RNID’s services in Northern Ireland were on show at the event.
