Pubs and clubs Noise at Work Event
RNID Northern Ireland, in partnership with the Federation of Retail Licensed Trade and the local Government Noise Task Team held an information event on Tuesday 23 April for pubs and clubs on the Noise at Work regulations.
Managers and staff from across Northern Ireland heard from David Adams, ENT Consultant at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast on the damage overexposure to loud noise can cause to hearing.
Claire Lavery, RNID N Ireland’s Communication & Campaigns Manager spoke about RNID’s Don't Lose the Music Campaign and Laura Strong, Environmental Health Officer from Belfast City Council provided practical advice on complying with the legislation.
