Services in Northern Ireland
RNID Northern Ireland provides a wide range of services for deaf and hard of hearing people, and for those working with and for them.
Care and community services
Harkness Gardens is a community-based supported housing project deaf and deafblind people who have additional special needs and require support to help them make their own way in life.
Communication services
You can book sign language interpreters, lipspeakers and other communication support services through RNID.
Employment, training and skills service
If you are deaf or hard of hearing and are having difficulty in finding a job, we can support you with training and job placements as well as employment. Employers and training providers in Northern Ireland can also find out here what RNID can offer them.
Information services
In Northern Ireland RNID provides a range of information services to those who are deaf, hard of hearing, deafened or have tinnitus, and to their family, friends and colleagues.
Rehabilitation project
We're trialling a new rehabilitation project working with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and the Western Health and Social Care Trust.

RNID Typetalk, funded by BT, lets deaf and hard of hearing people communicate by telephone with hearing people all over the world.
