We held two information events in the main mall of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. We were delighted that Catherine Thompson, Chief Audiologist, was able to join us at both events giving vital information and assistance to many people. We were pleased that many RNID members stopped by to support the events, and also that so many patients and NHS staff members were keen to learn about deafness, assistive equipment and how better to communicate with people who have a hearing loss.
