Louder than Words charter
nationally recognised and shows deaf and hard of hearing people that organisations offer a fully deaf aware service
Louder than Words is a best practice charter for organisations striving to offering the best level of service for deaf and hard of hearing customers and employees.
Businesses and organisations in Scotland can apply for the Louder than Words charter mark, which will be awarded to those that can demonstrate to our assessors that they meet and exceed the required standards.
The programme is nationally recognised and shows deaf and hard of hearing people that organisations offer a fully deaf aware service. In meeting the Louder than Words standards, organisations also ensure that they are meeting the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act and the Human Rights Act.
