you could help us to change the lives of deaf and hard of hearing people
Fundraising is vital for the future of our services and projects across Wales.
Our corporate partnerships manager in Wales works with businesses of all sizes to develop partnerships that are mutally beneficial. Working with a good cause is a proven way to attract and keep customers and employees. Whether you are looking for a long-term partnership or a one-off project or event, we can tailor a package that will give you the competitive edge you need.
Charitable trusts and foundations provide essential funding for our projects across Wales and the rest of the UK. We're keen to develop relationships with more trusts and foundations who would like to support our work in Wales. If you are a trustee or have links with a charitable trust or foundation you could help us to change the lives of deaf and hard of hearing people.

We work in partnership with European, Lottery and public sector funding organisations, including the Welsh Assembly Government, in Wales.
Our aim is to change the world for deaf and hard of hearing people. We can't achieve this alone, so we work in partnership with funders in Wales in a range of fields such as employment, health, information and support for vulnerable children and young people.
We currently receive a European Social Fund (ESF) grant to deliver employment information, advice and guidance to deaf and hard of hearing people across Wales. We're also part of a partnership with the Welsh Assembly Government, local colleges and other voluntary organisations, which has received European funds to address the shortage of trained British Sign Langauge interpreters in Wales.
Over the next months and years, we'll be working hard to get a share of the EU Structural funding for much needed employment and skills work with deaf and hard of hearing people in Wales.
Like other charities, we're able to access funding from a range of national lottery distributors, including:
In recent years, we've been successful in securing grant funding from national lottery distributors. Two major grants from the Big Lottery Fund in Wales have allowed us to run two important services. Thanks to funding we have been able to provide pratical support to new hearing users in isolated rural areas in mid Wales. We've also used lottery funding to provide an outreach information service to deaf and hard of hearing people, families, friends, community groups and key groups of professionals in North Wales.
We provide support services for deaf and hard of hearing children and young people in both North and South Wales. This work is directly funded by grants from Gwynedd, Newport and Cardiff local councils.
We also receive funding from the Welsh Assembly Government, which helps us to provide a range of services and projects across Wales. This especially helps to support our vital campaigning work which aims to challenge attitudes and behaviour towards hearing loss, as well as our innovative research work into the barriers faced by people with hearing loss.
We'd like to say to a big thanks to all the statutory orgnaisations that are working with us.
