Services in Wales
RNID Cymru provides a wide range of services for deaf and hard of hearing people in Wales, and for those working with and for them. You can find contact details for each service on the relevant web page listed below.
Communication services
Sign language interpreters, lipspeakers and other communication services can be booked through RNID Cymru's Communication Services.
Employment services
If you are deaf or hard of hearing and are having difficulty finding a job or coping in your current one, RNID Cymru can support you in training and job placements as well as employment. We also offer advice and support for employers and training providers.
Information services
RNID Cymru's Information Service provides a range of information to deaf and hard of hearing people, families, friends, community groups and key groups of professionals.
Young People's Support Service
RNID Cymru provides specialist support for young deaf people and their families in Newport, Cardiff and North West Wales. We run a variety of services, including a counselling service, support sessions and training.
RNID Typetalk
RNID Typetalk, funded by BT, lets deaf and hard of hearing people communicate by telephone with hearing people all over the world.
RNID Products
RNID Products is the biggest supplier of environmental aids and equipment for deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK.
