Detail
My brother is a part-time DJ during the weekends and I'm sure when he speaks to me sometimes he's half shouting!

I was thinking of getting him something to wear whilst he's DJing. Does anyone know of a good make of earphones he can use but which don't affect the quality of the sound?

I know this isn't directly related to Tinnitus per se but usually he displays some the symptoms of temporary ringing in the ears the day after.

Thanks,

It sounds like the ringing you mention is down to the loud music. As he's a DJ its very important he protects his ears while he's working. Ear plugs are what most people advise. With him sometime's half shouting, does he feel that he's also possibly struggling to hear as well. My hearing loss is not down to being in a loud environment, but mine is unknown. But what I was told once was, when I been wearing my hearing aids for some time, was that I did not seem to shout anymore since wearing them.
