Anyone who like me has had trouble with NHS moulds ( Allergic to standard silicone rubber and even more so if they are treated with the anti-allergic coating) might like to ask for "Microplex" moulds.A very helpful NHS technician suggested these to me a while ago and they have been excellent with no problems with itching or watery discharge.Previous to this I had great trouble just after being fitted with a pair of digitals last year, the first moulds were too big! and the next gave me itchy runny ears, other technicians just said I would have to wait for patch testing but I've got relief at last.
