Hi everybody!
By accident I found this forum when I was searching the news on tinnitus. I got my T 3 months ago and after an ENT checked my ears he sent me to a neurologist. She measured me the brain (intracranial) vessels blood flow and said there was a bit assymetry in the left and right back brain artheries. As well she found the osteochondrosis in my neck. She prescribed me a number of medecines and after three weeks measured the blood flow and changed the medecines. I also bought an orthopedic pillow. I should say that my T has changed tonnaly (gotten better) and has located in the left part of the head. I asked her about the SCENAR, she answered the good physiotherapy like Dorsonval's or magneto-laser stimulation of the neck (both devises are used in hospitals since they are big) is good for osteochondrosis but she does not think that such devices like SCENAR are useful except placebo effect. SCENAR has not the Russian ministry of health's approvement as a treatment. It is strange for me why this thing made in Russia is not used in Russia if it is so effective like people on this forum wrote? By the way, it cost about 5,150 USD in Moscow but It seems to me be just a new costly (sorry for wording) " buzzer" that are usually sold on TV shops. Moreover, tinnitus has a lot of reasons so that, logically, thinking, it must be many ways to cure it depending on the reason.

I don't think she knows what she is talking about. Scenar is used throughout Russia in many hospitals, and it got approval from the Russian ministry of health in 1986!

Yes, the home mini-device costs about USD1,000 - I was looking at proffesional ones.
Actually, the doctor works at Botkin and Burdenko hospitals - two the best neurologic hospitals in Russia (both located in Moscow). I am not sure she could work here if she had not enough experience and competence .
I have also read several sites on Russian such as www.scenar-shop.com, www.scenar.ru, www.scenar-russia.ru and I was very amazed at a large number of deseases that are "cured" by SCENAR - from anumal bites to heart stroke - it must be the panacea if all written is true. My only confusion is I have not read anything about randomized blind placebo controlled trials of this device - the only reason anything can be accepted in the modern medicine of evidence.
Mr. Zephiloyd, I have read your site as well. I should say that you are being risky advertising the device based on your story only - without medical testing according the medicine of evidence's standards - not yours.

No, if you are in Russia, where you do not need a CE mark, you can get a PROFESSIONAL device from Rostov on Don for about $1000. Contact me through my site, and I will give you the phone number, and they can give you more info. You are in Russia you have access to many people about scenar, get information from other people. I suggest, Dr Revenko he is the inventor. I am seeing him next week in London.

Regarding diseases that are "cured", the device only stimulates the body and it is the body that heals itself. This is not a panacea, just brilliant technology.
There are trials http://www.nrg-unlimited.com/interx_clinical_trials.php (external link, opens new browser window)
http://www.enar.com.au/research.html (external link, opens new browser window)
(InterX and Enar are the same technology as scenar)
I am going to try to get medical testing.

Hi Zeph, Do you know the cheapest place I could buy a Scenar device in UK and treat myself with it? I am willing to give it a go...it sounds the way forward, especially after you reduced your tinnitus almost completely.

Mr. Zephiloyd, in my humble opinion, reflexology is a very good thing (as right as I understood the priciple of SCENAR) but the problem is how to find right spots. It is like acupuncture but nobody does it by himself. Because of that thу presense of a doctor is so needed in case with SCENAR.

I found SCENAR http://www.scenar-russia.ru/shop/products_pictures/SHENS_01_big.jpg (external link, opens new browser window) with electrode that cost only 870RUB or 31USD. I can allow to waste this sum but is it the right device?
