hey guys Paulmanlike here

Just to let u know I spoke with Sticky on MSN before I went to Paris and he informed me he received an email of auris medical to let him know the NEW news with the drug NEXT MONTH.

I dont know if this is going to be a definate or positive outcome but he will let the board know. Sticky is from Australia and a poster on this forum.

Fingers crossed.

Will read the posts ive missed while ive been in Paris that was absolutly beautiful - Chris I have not noticed a correlation between my t and the weather but it is something to think about it!

Regards to u all

I also have a little update from someone that I have emailed at Merz. the drug company that is working on Neramexane. They said that they would possibly starting clinical trials in the US in January 09 and if all goes well be on the market by 2012. This is ofcourse if it passes all sorts of inspections and does what it is supposed to do ofcourse. Do a google search on this drug. It looks promising
I wanted to know more information about how the trials went. Perecntages of who benifited if relief and they said they are going to make an announcement in June.

Thank you so much Paulmanlike, my T is so bad at the moment I feel so miserable, and the weather is low cloud and humid, just think it could be affecting my sinuses and that is making T worse. Please let us know about that drug trial, hope you have a great time in Paris,If anyone is interested I am using a neuromonics device, (about 4 weeks now) and it does help to drown out the T, and at least I know that it is set for me, I used to use an ipod but always wondered if I was doing more damage. I just love this site it has helped me so much especially you and Elvis and also Marcia.

It's the same Neramexane. it failed for what the drug was being tested for "Alzheimer's" but has showed good results with Tinnitus.

no no no.......sorry Paul got it wrong:( I got a reply from Auris Medical a little while ago but not in regard to there "news". I did read they were meant to put out some news around this time though. But it is good to see that there are people working on a cure for us, and that people care!
