I suffer from pulsatile tinntus. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not but the last 2 times its flared up taking 1 antihistamine has seemed to help.

Has anyone else experienced this? It feels to me like it helps ease the blocked sensation.

I Have been on antihistmines i every day for 7 years because of my alergies. Been suffering with hearing loss, bloated ear feeling and tinnitus for 3 years. What is the connection.

I was told that antihistamines thicken fluid in the ears and can make your t worse. If you look at this link it tells you that using them thickens the mucus in the middle ear.http://hubpages.com/hub/Causes-For-Ringing-Ears2 (external link, opens new browser window)

Hmm, I am slightly concerned byt the fact that that web page is splattered with massive T-Gone links.

The bit about anti histamines causing a build up of mucus completely contradicts what my doctor told me. I don't know what to believe sometimes...
