I'm a seriously stressed out person with very loud, chronic tinnitus, is there anybody out there who can relater to that, or possibly lend a hand.

You are at the right place since this board can relate to that. Have you tried any type of counseling to deal with your stress? Music, hobbies, meditation, yoga, exercise, hanging out with friends, etc. are all good distractions. Many of us find an anti-depressent helpful though no one wishes to "push" meds on anyone. For me, I was calmed down and had less panic attacks. Please also check out this other great forum for tips:

Best of luck and please hang in there. MM

mm, thanks for that sound advice, i've actually had counselling for stress, a really nice guy, but he knew very little about tinnitus. Tell me, anti depressents, i'm so afraid of ototoxic now, do you, or anybody out there know of one that could help me chill out for a while, and not increase this megga loud tinnitus as yet another side effect, thanks, barry
