hi

has anyone noticed aggravation of existing tinnitus with having sneezing fits from hayfever?

i have noticed this appart from the stress which i know does make it worse...immidiately after a bout of sneezing the last few nights i had either an increase of a faint t or a new noise which thankfully did retreat the next day......its so unnearving...

I also suffer badly from hayfeaver - although I can honessyly say it has no effect on my t whatsoever.

Stress has the worse effect on my t and loud noise.

Just got some allergy releif tablets - can't wait for them to kick in.

AAAAAAAA-CCCCC-HHHHHH-OOOOOOOO!

hi paul

bless you lol.....hope allergy meds r working....

i think that my ears have become so sensitive just now becos of the stress that has made the t more intrusive....so in the past when i was in a relaxed phase and had any colds that caused sneezing i dont remember having and new noises then....

when i first developed t 16 yrs ago i found that using the hoover did increase the t for a while...when it first happened i was so frightened id made it worse for good so ever since even during my good years i have always worn ear plugs to hoover...hairdryers are another, long car journeys or phone calls....
yet the tv being of equal loudness doesnt aggravate it....it seems to be certain frequencies.....

Hi Tintin,
So interesting as I have the same experiences with those frequencies aggravating my "t". I too have hayfever and Florida is SOOOO humid all the time, the bugs and flowers and weird grasses just bloom everywhere - even my poor little dogs seem to have hayfever and are sneezing all the time. The only thing is now I watch my intake of over the counter Sinus medicine as they increase my "t".

Good luck and hope you feel better soon. Marcia

yesterday was a good day t wise i handled it like i was in the better years but today i feel depressed with it again.....i guess depression makes it seem worse.....the last 2 months i just dont know what to expect with each day and even if i wake up and im not tuned into it i worry so much by brain goes looking for it.....hope your h/fever is not to bad today

Hi Tintin,

The effects of that horrible med Seroquel are finally wearing off so I will resume using my T Tamer and eating better. My t changes from day to day but I am keeping busy with friends and packing for my huge move in August. I take amed for my depression so that helps me cope a little better with my t and hay fever, etc. Hope you feel better too soon. Try to remain positive - that is my toughtest challenge. Take care, Hugs, Marcia
