BUPA Great North Run: 5 October 2008
Join the Great North Run and help us change the lives for 9 million deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK. The Great North Run, from Newcastle to South Shields, is one of the most loved half marathons in the world.

Join our 2008 team
Run for us and you will benefit from our excellent support package, which includes:
- a dedicated fundraiser to help you reach, and even exceed your fundraising target
- a fundraising pack
- a running vest
- training and nutrition advice
- cheering points along the route
- a post race reception – a few minutes walk from the finish line, where you can have a snack, drink and well deserved massage.
We ask all our runners to raise a minimum sponsorship of £300 and pay a registration fee of £38. Don't panic if you’ve never raised sponsorship before – we'll help you every step of the way and share tips, ideas and the expertise of our fellow fundraisers.
Places are limited, so if you want to take part make sure you sign up soon and guarantee your place.
