Our Legal Casework Service team provides advice specifically in relation to deaf and hard of hearing people, and can help you whether you are an individual looking for help or an organisation needing information on legal obligations.

We help organisations and individuals who want to work with deaf people. We also provide employment advice to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. Typetalk

RNID Typetalk is a national telephone relay service that lets deaf, deafened, hard of hearing, deafblind and speech-impaired people communicate with hearing people over the telephone. Find out how it works and how you can use it.

Our Information Line is a great place to start if you want information on any aspects of deafness, hearing loss or tinnitus, or about the work RNID does. We also run a special Tinnitus Helpline.

Help with equipment

RNID Community Equipment Services supports the community by assessing the needs of deaf, deafened, deafblind and hard of hearing people, and providing them with equipment, support and advice. We do this in partnership with a number of local authorities, health care trusts and sensory groups across the UK. Find out more here.
