Gallaudet offers short- and long-term accommodation for eight deaf and deafblind adults who are at least 18 years old and have additional needs such as learning difficulties or autism.
Support
We offer support based on the needs of each individual. This includes:
- 24 hour staff cover, all year round
- highly trained staff
- total communication environment
- comprehensive individual support plans
- regular review meetings
- key workers for each service user.
Accommodation
The accommodation is on one storey and accessible by wheelchairs. It is in a complex of services in Twerton, with access to day services, therapeutic facilities and sensory gardens. There are shops, a church and pubs nearby, and regular bus links to the centre of Bath.
