RNID: For deaf and hard of hearing people.

Ransdale House offers high standards of care to six deaf adults aged at least 18 years old who have a range of additional needs including autism, Ushers syndrome, and learning and physical disabilities. We can provide short or long-term care.

Support

We offer support based on the needs of each individual. This includes:

  • 24 hour staff cover, all year round
  • highly trained staff
  • total communication environment
  • comprehensive individual support plans
  • regular review meetings
  • key workers for each service user.

Accommodation

This detached home was developed in partnership with Tees Valley Housing Association and has a friendly family-type atmosphere. The garden, summerhouse and conservatory are used for sensory development and there is a communal lounge and kitchen. It is in a quiet residential area close to bus links to the main shopping centre and there are signed church services and subtitled cinema showings nearby.
