RNID: For deaf and hard of hearing people.

Leopold Muller provides long-term nursing and residential care for 22 deaf and deafblind adults who are sick, injured or infirm. Most of our residents are over 30 years old but we can take five younger physically disabled adults aged over 18 years old who need nursing care. At Leopold Muller we can also help with rehabilitation programmes and specialist convalescent care.

Support

We offer support based on the needs of each individual. This includes

  • 24 hour staff cover all year round, including a Registered Nurse
  • highly trained nursing and support staff
  • total communication environment
  • comprehensive individual support plans
  • regular review meetings
  • a nurse and a key worker for each service user.

Accommodation

This semi-detached property provides accommodation over three floors with wheelchair access and lifts. It is in a complex of services in Twerton and offers access to day services, therapeutic facilities and sensory gardens. There are shops, a church and pubs nearby, and regular bus links to the centre of Bath.
