Cliffe Avenue offers intensive support to five deaf adults aged 18 to 65 with significant learning disabilities, high support needs and challenging behaviour. We focus on behavioural analysis and independent living skills, and offer and rehabilitation.
Support
Our support is based on the needs of each individual, and can include:
- 24 hour staff cover all year round, with one-to-one or two-to-one support for each person
- highly trained staff, with specialist skills in learning disabilities and physical intervention
- total communication environment
- comprehensive individual support plans
- regular review meetings
- key workers for each service user.
Accommodation
The house is a large detached property in a pleasant location in Margate near to the beach. There is a communal lounge, kitchen, conservatory and garden. It is close to local shops and amenities, and within easy access of public transport.
