We feel lucky that our daughter has such a committed and positive staff team who find creative and sensitive ways to meet her specific needs. She is happier, enjoying life much more and benefiting from the professional and supportive care.
Margate
This supported housing service was set up specifically for one individual with high support needs. The focus of the service is on promotion and development of independence and educational and social skills. The service user identified and decided their own personal goals and objectives.
Support
A dedicated team of staff provide 24 hour support on a two-to-one basis. All staff have received specialist training recognising the needs of the service user.
Accommodation
A property suitable to the service users needs was identified and secured. The service user was fully involved in all aspects of setting up the service from the initial stages to choosing furniture, fixtures and fittings.
