Thornton Gate is a supported housing service for eight deaf and hard of hearing adults with a range of learning disability and mental health problems. Our aim is to improve the quality of their lives and reduce the stresses that come with their needs.

Support

We offer flexible support which is based on the needs of each individual. Staff are based onsite and available 24 hours a day.

Accommodation

The property has recently been renovated and now provides high quality living space in eight fully self-contained flats. Two have been adapted for wheelchair users. The flats are spread across three floors with a lift to each floor and there is a lounge, kitchen and laundry for communal use and a garden with a patio at the back.

Thornton gate is on a residential street that leads directly to the seafront. At the other end of the street is a tram service and it is just a short ten-minute ride into Blackpool town centre. Thornton gate is just a few minutes walk from local shops and amenities.
