If you are deaf or hard of hearing you should understand your rights at work as laid out in the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.

Employers can justify discrimination in certain circumstances. There is more information about this in our factsheet "Information for deaf people in work or looking for work".
A disabled person can bring a complaint of disability discrimination to the Employment Tribunal, but must do so within three months less one day of the date of the discriminatory act.
If there were a number of discriminatory acts, for example harassment over a number of months, then the last instance must be within the three month period.
