We do this through RNID Community Equipment Services, which works in partnership with a number of local authorities, health care trusts and sensory groups. We have set up projects around the country to help users of hearing aids and have trained staff and volunteers who offer help in a number of areas.
RNID offers support and advice to deaf and hard of hearing people who need help with equipment. Find out how we can help you, whatever your needs, and read about your rights and the services you should receive from your local authority.
Find out how we work with local authorities across the UK, and how to contact us if you have a professional enquiry about these services.
As the largest charity representing the 9 million deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK, we are leading the development and implementation of a national volunteer programme for hearing aid and rehabilitation support.
Find out about the equipment centres that we have set up across the UK in partnership with local authority and community groups.
If you have any questions about the equipment you use or think you need, or if you have an enquiry in a professional capacity, here's how to contact us.
| The services we provide reflect the Adults' and Children’s Positive Practice Standards, which has been produced jointly with the Association of Directors of Social Services and other organisations in the field of deafness and disability. |
