Project management

When we deliver our projects we apply processes and procedures developed with the help of our internal audit team. We use project management techniques based on methods recognised in service industries and the public sector.

Good practice

We make sure that we understand changes in legislation, and adopt the recommendations and standards which support the various social services guidelines. These include:

  • Best practice standards - social services for deaf and hard of hearing people
  • Deaf children - positive practice standards in social services
  • Scottish best practice standards for social work services for deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people.

Installation

Many of our projects include installation. It is our policy to adopt electrical and equipment standards that conform to recognised standards, including those set by the Institute of Electrical Engineers.
