DNA diagnostics for deafness
A three-year project at the University of Antwerp led by Prof Guy Van Camp. It will finish in September 2012.
Deafness in preterm children
This is a three-year project at the UCL Institute of Child Health led by Dr Bitner-Glindzicz. It will finish in December 2012.

This is a two year project at Newcastle University conducted by Dr Mark Pearce, Dr Adrian Rees and Prof Adrian Davis. It will finish in September 2011.

This is a three-year project at University College London led by Professor Forge. It is due to be completed in December 2010.
Adenosine and protection against noise-induced hearing loss
This three year project at the University of Auckland was led by Dr Vlajkovic, Dr Thorne and Dr Housley and was completed in December 2009.
A novel strategy to identify the genetic causes of hereditary hearing loss in young children
This was a two-year project at Radboud University Nijmegem Medical Centre and led by Dr Hannie Kremer, Prof Frans P.M Cremers and Prof Cor W.R.J Cremers. It was completed in September 2009.
Identification of genes for noise-induced hearing loss
This was a three year project at the University of Antwerp and led by Professor Van Camp, Professor Van de Heyning and Dr Van Laer. It was completed in December 2008.
Hair cell survival genes
This was a three year project at University College London led by Dr Dawson and Dr Gale. It was completed in January 2009.
