Hearing Matters

Around 4 million of us in the UK are losing our hearing and not doing anything about it. Could you be one of those people? Take our hearing check on 0844 800 3838 and find out (calls from a BT landline cost up to 5p per minute. Other providers' charges may vary. Call set up charge may apply).

Don't Lose the Music

Look after your ears now, enjoy music forever. Exposure to sounds above 85 decibels over time will damage hearing. We're campaigning to make sure people know how to protect their hearing while enjoying music.

Lipreading

In many parts of the UK, people are finding it difficult to go to a class to learn and improve on their lipreading skills. Lipreading is a vital skill for many deaf and hard of hearing people . Help us campaign for lipreading classes to be made widely available at little or no cost to the learner.

Induction loops

Are you fed up that loops in many public places don't work properly? Campaign with us to make sure that shops, banks, and other public venues understand the importance of having a loop system that works.

Noise at work

There is no cure for noise induced hearing loss, but it is 100% preventable. We're campaigning to make sure that the hearing of UK employees is protected. As well as making sure people get the advice they need, we are campaigning to make sure that the music industry in particular takes action.
