Emma Rachael and Fillppo looking forward to their sky divingEmma, Fillppo and Rachael about to get on the plane
The Sky Dive was amazing, I literally screamed with excitement all the way down!

Our skydives are organised by the London Parachute School. Strapped to your British Parachute Association approved instructor, you will free fall down to 10,000 feet for the experience of a lifetime where your parachute will open and you will glide safely down to earth.

Emma, Rachel and Filippo's story

3 fearless members of our information line in Peterborough recently took the plunge for RNID and raised an amazing £1200 and counting. "Working for the information line, we deal with many enquiries first hand covering a lot of issues that deaf or hard of hearing people face on a daily basis, rather than just offer information, help and support to enquirers we wanted to go that little bit further and fundraise for RNID also.

After a few days full of weird and wonderful ideas we agreed to take part in a sponsored skydive. The day of the jump finally came, we were a little nervous but very excited, sitting on the edge of the plane prior to jumping we could even see the RNID office, we jumped from 13,000ft, freefalling 8000ft before our parachure opened. We had a truly amazing day, and would encourage everybody to take part in a challenge like this at some time in their life."

Book now to become an RNID skydiver!

You can jump anytime, anywhere at one of our 22 sites across the UK. Visit the London Parachute School's website (external link) to see a map of jump sites. We also have two very exciting one day skydives planned for 26 September at Peterborough and Swansea so if you would like to join lots of other people all jumping for RNID then this would be perfect for you!

We ask all our skydivers to raise £395. This includes the initial £50 deposit to book the jump and the £160 donation to us, as well as your jump fee. And don't worry about the fundraising, we will give you lots of ideas and tips to make it as easy as possible.
