Between April 2001 and April 2004, togetherITworks provided opportunities for deaf and hard of hearing people to gain access to the IT skills essential for competing in today’s job market.

In partnership with Barclays, RNID has developed fully accredited and fully accessible parttime IT training courses for deaf and hard of hearing people. Barclays staff were involved in a variety of ways, including mock interviews, assisting with CV writing and running job preparation workshops.  In 2003, togetherITworks won the Business in the Community Workplace Impact Award for Excellence in the Realising Ability category.
