RNID was T-Mobile's "Charity of Choice" from 2001 to 2003.

T-Mobile had a key involvement in the rollout and customer management of a project to deliver a mobile textphone for deaf and hard of hearing people. This project won the Ability award at the Computing Awards for Excellence 2003. The partnership also addressed accessibility issues. RNID worked closely with T-Mobile to support the development of its Disability Services Team that delivers industry leading customer support for disabled people. In addition, a number of T-Mobile's technology experts were in regular contact with RNID to ensure a more vigorous drive towards inclusive design.
