The course

The race takes you past some of the most historic sights of Bath, with the starting and finishing points on Great Poultney Street, one of the widest Georgian streets in Europe.

Sarah ran for us in 2007, she said: "I really enjoyed the day, all the people were standing there cheering you on  which gives you such a buzz. Seeing the finishing line ahead of you and receiving your medal gives you such a high, and the buzz is so addictive, it makes you want to do it again. Meeting the RNID  team gives you a warm sense of achievement especially when they tell you well done!"

As part of our team you'll receive entry into the race and the support package which includes:

  • a dedicated fundraiser to help you reach, and even exceed, your fundraising target
  • a fundraising pack
  • a free running vest
  • training and nutrition advice
  • cheering points along the route
  • post race reception - a few minutes walk from the finish line, where you can have a snack, drink and meet the RNID  team.
The day was brilliant and it was made better by knowing that I was raising money for a fantastic cause.

We ask all our runners to pay a £32 registration fee and pledge to raise £145 in sponsorship. But don't panic if you have never raised sponsorship before – we'll help you every step of the way and share tips, ideas and the expertise of our fellow fundraisers.

If you have your own place already, you can still join our team and benefit from our excellent support package. We just ask you to raise as much as possible.
