Losing someone you love is one of the hardest things anyone has to face. Thinking about the time you spent together and the conversations you shared can be a great comfort. Finding a way to honour these memories can help to ease the pain. You can do this by giving a gift in memory to RNID, knowing that you are providing hope to the 9 million people in the UK who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Giving the gift of conversation to help someone else experience those special moments you enjoyed together could be a fitting tribute.

To make a donation in memory of a loved one please send a cheque made payable to "RNID" with our donation form to: RNID, Supporter Services, Freepost WC 1252, London EC1 1QJ
Please let us know in whose memory you are sending the gift, what your relationship was to them and your name and address, so we can thank you for your kind donation.
Fill in our Donation in Memory form (PDF 33KB) (opens new browser window).
You can create a page in memory of a loved one with Justgiving. You can add photos of the person you are remembering on your fundraising page and friends and family can donate in their memory. All donations are automatically transferred to RNID.
Visit the Justgiving website. (external link, opens new browser window)
If you are organising a funeral you may feel it is appropriate to ask friends and relatives of your loved one to make a donation to a cause they cared about instead of giving flowers at their funeral. A simple way to do this is to include a request in any obituary notices you place in newspapers or simply tell your family and close friends of your wishes. You can also request our in memoriam leaflet to hand out at funerals by emailing judy.anderson@rnid.org.uk
Those who we've lost will be forever in our thoughts and a special way to remember them is by giving the gift of hope to others in their memory.
You may wish to continue giving to RNID in the memory of someone special in the future. One way you can do this is by setting up an RNID Hope Fund. By setting up an RNID Hope Fund, you and your friends and family will be able to celebrate the memory of your loved one on special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.
