Digital hearing aids were once only available privately for over £2000. Our supporters enabled RNID to launch a major campaign to make sure that digital hearing aids are available free on the National Health Service for all who need them.

This can make a huge difference to someone with a hearing loss, like Catherine. She says: "I had to take time to get used to them, but now I feel like a new me! I'm able to join in and become part of whatever is going on. It's not just a difference for me, it also makes a difference for people around me."
