A letter from our Chairman to trustee applicants

Thank you very much for your interest in becoming a Trustee of RNID.

RNID is a well-established and high profile charity and we will celebrate our centenary in 2011. We like to think that we punch well above our weight in drawing attention to the everyday problems faced by those with hearing loss as well as delivering a wide range of practical support.

As a new Trustee you would be joining us at an exciting time: both the Chief Exceutive, Jackie Ballard, and I were recruited last year and inevitably there are many changes taking place. We are currently in the process of reviewing our strategy so that we will have a fresh focus on what we do and how we deliver it.

The Board is made up of a very diverse group of people, with a wide set of experiences and knowledge but who all share a passionate commitment to changing the lives of deaf and hard of hearing people.
