The campaigns network is a network of people who wish to participate in our campaigns. The network brings together deaf and hard of hearing people, their friends, family and interested parties to take part in campaigns that focus on issues affecting our daily lives. Past campaigns have resulted in significant improvements in NHS audiology services and an increase in the number of films and television programmes that are subtitled. Join our campaigns network.
To sign up, log in or register at "My Account". When you have an account, you can edit the Campaigns Network settings to tell us that you want to receive our monthly email. Your account page gives you complete control over which emails you get from us.

Through care services we offer a wide range of support to help deaf, hard of hearing and Deafblind people with additional needs. Volunteers support the service we provide to people in our own residential homes, supported housing schemes and in their own homes.

We can design opportunities for your employees to give some of their time to RNID. These may be ongoing commitments, or a one-off team building challenge. If you are looking to develop one of your members of staff, our employee volunteering scheme can make use of their existing skills and develop new ones. Contact volunteering@rnid.org.uk to discuss your requirements.

Through our Employment Advisers we support deaf and hard of hearing people who are moving through their different life stages. This may be from school to higher education, training or work. Volunteers assist in this process by mentoring the people who benefit from our services.

As a charity we rely heavily on voluntary income to help fund the work we do. Why not take part in a challenge event, such as running a marathon or trekking the Great Wall of China. Or run a local event for us. Volunteers make a valuable contribution to our fund raising.

Working closely with local authorities and other organisations we provide community-based equipment services for deaf, hard of hearing and Deafblind people across the UK. Volunteers help us in this work by offering support to new hearing aid users, maintaining equipment and offering advice.

Our regional communications and information team provide information to a wide range of people on on deaf and hard of hearing issues, as well as promoting the full range of RNID services including campaigns and membership. Our volunteers help with distributing information leaflets, supporting exhibitions and events and giving talks to community groups.

If you have time to spare during the day, we can make use of your skills. This could be in administration, helping us in our head office in London, updating our databases or assisting a care home manager with the paperwork required to run a well organised residential home. If you have a training background then we could use your talents to deliver our flexible training programme to our volunteers.
Also, to help us deliver our services to more deaf and hard of hearing people, we use volunteer team leaders to manage local teams of volunteers to deliver services or fundraise.
