| The position | To promote independence and self esteem through increased social interaction within Harkness Gardens. You will spend time with service users, assisting and involving them in activities including shopping and walks.You will also accompany service users on social outings e.g. theatre, cinema and bowling. |
| Skills, Knowledge and Experience | Communication skills are paramount. Knowledge of sign language is preferable. Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, the issues affecting deaf and hard of hearing people. |
