Finding work
If you are finishing university and want to find a job, you should start by contacting your university’s careers service. They will be able to give you advice on where to look for job adverts, preparing your CV and applying for jobs.

We have employment advisers all over the UK who can offer advice and guidance to deaf and hard of hearing people who are looking for work.

- Deaf and Creative (external link, opens new browser window) has information on jobs, funding and support for deaf people wanting to work in creative industries.
- Deafclicks (external link, opens new browser window) lists a wide range of companies that welcome people who are deaf or hard of hearing as customers and may be useful for looking for jobs.
- DeafUK (external link, opens new browser window) is an email group for deaf people in the UK. The site is regularly updated with vacancies and the registration is free.
