Third appointment (at least 30 minutes)
At this appointment your audiologist will find out how you are getting on with your hearing aid(s), help with any difficulties you are having and make any adjustments that are needed. They will:
- Ask you how you are getting on with your new hearing aid(s).
- Ask about how well you hear with your aid(s) in different everyday situations, how much you use them and how satisfied you are with them.
- Ask whether you are having any problems putting in your hearing aid(s), looking after them and changing the battery.
- Ask if they are comfortable, whether you find the controls easy to use and whether they sound OK.
- Make any adjustments that are needed.
- Make sure that you have all the information you need.
