Where to get an NHS hearing aid
Your first point of call should be your local GP (family doctor) who will probably refer you to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist or the audiology department at a hospital near you.
You will usually need to go for three appointments:
You can take someone with you if you would like to. You have the choice of getting free hearing aids on the NHS or buying them privately from a registered hearing aid dispenser. |
