Can neckloops be used with entertainment equipment as well as my mobile phone?

Some neckloops are designed just to be used with audio equipment and can replace headphones for listening to hi-fi systems, radios and TV, although the TV loudspeakers may cut out, like when you plug in headphones. Neckloops produce a mono signal, which is fine for mobile phones but if you wear two hearing aids and want to listen to music in stereo, then dual inductive ear hooks or stereo headphones that produce an inductive output are worth thinking about.
