The SMS400 is a smart looking, simple to use product which easily connects to your existing phone line allowing you to send SMS texts to mobile phones or other Magic Messengers.

It is supplied with batteries and a telephone socket doubler, so you can set it up and have it running in no time. We liked its clear, easy-to-read screen and small flashing light alerting you to new text messages. The QWERTY keypad is clearly labelled, but the keys are a bit small so using it demands a little care and attention and could be tricky if you have stiff fingers.

We were impressed with its ease of use and practicality, and it’s hard to argue with 10p texts and a purchase cost of around £20. This could be ideal for you if you want to send and receive texts from home and already have a normal phone.
