Meeting on speech and hearing in learning environments - 29 January 2008
The recently reformed Speech & Hearing Group of the Institute of Acoustics will be holding a one-day meeting on 29 January 2008, at the Royal Society in London, on "Speech & Hearing in Learning Environments".
The meeting will take a multi-disciplinary approach to acoustic issues relating to students and staff in schools, colleges and universities. There will be presentations discussing architectural and construction issues, voice care, speech intelligibility and perception and assistive technologies. The meeting should therefore be of interest to people working in any of these fields, plus special needs teachers and coordinators, educational planners, audiologists and speech and language therapists.
