If you are deaf or hard of hearing, and think you can bring passion, enthusiasm and energy to the 2012 Olympics, why not apply to be a volunteer?

The London Organising Committee of Olympic Games (LOCOG) needs exceptional volunteers to help stage the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

By volunteering, you’ll get the chance to play an integral role in one of the most exciting events ever seen in the UK. You’ll also gain experience and develop your skills in a unique and inspirational setting.

How to apply

LOCOG
Applications open on 27 July 2010. Once you have read the eligibility criteria and want to apply, you need a code from RNID to progress your application. To get the code, contact RNID by email at volunteering@rnid.org.uk

We will ask you to provide us with your first name, surname, email address and level of hearing loss before allocating the code to you. You can then go ahead with your application.

London Ambassadors Volunteering

The London Ambassadors Volunteering are also looking for volunteers who have a good knowledge of London. These volunteers will be based at 35 sites across the capital, and will play an essential role in providing an outstanding welcome to London’s visitors during 2012.
