Free enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checks until March 2006
As part of our commitment to improving access to communication in English for deaf people, we are processing CRB applications free of charge, for those registered with the Council for the Advancement of Communication with deaf people (CACDP)
In recognition of RNID’s commitment to quality and security in the provision of Language Service Professionals for deaf and hard of hearing users, RNID will be offering free enhanced CRB checks for the following people:
- CACDP registered Speech-to-text reporters
- CACDP registered BSL/English interpreters
- CACDP registered Level 3 lipspeakers
- CACDP registered deafblind manual interpreters
- CACDP Level 2 certificated electronic notetakers
- CACDP Level 2 certificated manual notetakers
