RNID: For deaf and hard of hearing people.

VEE-TV, the popular Channel 4 magazine programme for young deaf people aged 18-30, is back for a sixth series in April 2006 and they’re searching for new talent.
 
Presented in British Sign Language (BSL) and subtitled, VEE-TV is an entertaining mix of short films, location reports, celebrity features, interviews, discussions and debates. In the last series programmes came from live events and festivals across the UK with half hour specials from Africa, India and the USA.

What are they looking for?

Each series, VEE-TV hopes to bring in new people to take on different roles. They’re looking for:

  • researchers
  • location assistants
  • producers
  • directors

What you will need

You’ll need:

  • lots of ideas
  • initiative and imagination
  • good BSL
  • an ability to make things happen
  • good communication, computer and organisational skills.
  • to be available to work early in the new year in London.
