Cash crisis forces deaf users to hang up on phone service

Although the technology is in place, British hearing-impaired people are being denied access to a modern phone relay service.

Imagine arriving at work to find that your phone has been taken away while your colleagues still have theirs. And one year on, you're still without a phone.

AMs claim fight to end child poverty has stalled

The Assembly Government’s efforts to combat child poverty are patchy and have stalled, a cross-party group of AMs will say today.

The Children and Young People Committee found there were “lots of good ideas” but these had not been linked up as part of an effective strategy.
