Disabled 'denied' post office rights

A severely disabled woman yesterday challenged contentious government plans to shut up to 2,500 local post offices, claiming ministers failed to consider the impact on disabled residents.

John Smith helps other deaf people to get the support he lacked

John Smith, who became profoundly deaf after contracting meningitis at three-years-old, felt as if the education system failed him and that there was a lack of support whilst he was growing up. He now dedicates himself to helping and educating others in the deaf community.
