Donaldsons, Scotland’s national school for children who are deaf or have speech and language difficulties, are celebrating their first year in their new building and have received a major funding boost. The Scottish Government Equality Unit and the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland have awarded a total of £60,000 to the school. Transition is mentioned as one of the most important parts of the curriculum and much of this work is done in partnership with the RNID.
