Flashing plug in doorchime A207

Would I be able to purchase additional plug in chimes for this product, so I could have one upstairs and another downstairs?

We can't supply an individual receiver for this model but it is possible to purchase two systems and just use the receiver and keep the additional bell push as a spare/replacement. Alternatively the A170 model is available with accessories.

Some flashing door chimes state that fitting the bell push to UPVC doors and door frames reduce the range. Is that the case with this item and if so is there any other flashing door chime that is not affected by UPVC? Thankyou

No sorry the majority radio frequency (non-wired) doorchimes are affected by UVPC doors and frames, but it is possible to mount the chime on the adjacent brickwork, this might indeed solve the problem and increase the possible range.

We are wanting a flashing doorbell as a warning for our organist when brides or funeral parties have arrived at the Church and are ready to proceed down the aisle. Is it possible to turn the sound OFF completely and just have the flashing? We have some 60-year old wiring that will cost a fortune to replace and this system seems like a good alternative, but we don't want to hear the bell!

The portable flashing door chime ( code no A174) would be ideal for this as it is battery operated and the chime can be set to flash mode only, this is also the case for the Libra+ flashing doorchime (order code A231) which has a brighter flash

If two sets are purchased, for different parts of the house, can the chimes' frequency be set to work off a single bell push? I have noted your other answers which don't address this question. The same question applies to cordless models. Thanks.

If you purchased two of these sets then both chimes can be operated from just one bell push as long as the range does not exceed 100m.

Can we attach several bells to the same system?

You can but we can't supply individual receivers on their own. You can purchase two units and only use the receiver and keep the bell push as a spare or replacement.

Can you please tell me how long the battery (CR2032 3V Lithium) in a new bell push is likely to last when it is not "started" by removing the isolation strip ? I have recently bought this product and need a second chime for another room, but would have to get a second bell push which I do not need. Would the second battery last long enough to use eventually as a replacement in the main bell push ? Do you know the cost of this battery ?

It maybe possible for you to use the spare battery from the second bell push but this is really down to when the original battery needs replacing, this will be determined on how many times the bell push is used. The price of an replacement battery is £2:00 plus postage and the order code is A164E (CR2032)
