The Crescendo 50 is a personal listener to help enhance the sound of conversations, the TV and other sounds. In tests its sound quality was rated highly. It has a tone control feature so you can tailor the sound to suit your particular hearing loss.
Listening to the TV or stereo: Not only does the Crescendo have an inbuilt microphone so you can hear conversations more clearly, it also comes with a tie clip microphone attached to a 4m lead. The microphone can be positioned next to a sound source like a TV or stereo so you can hear the TV more clearly.
The Crescendo 50 has a loop listening facility that enables you to benefit from any room loops you may have at home, the bank, or anywhere else you see a loop sign.
This version comes with a stethoset headset which makes them suitable for people without a hearing aid.

The sound quality is good for the price range. If you think you will be switching between the in-built microphone for conversations, the tie clip microphone for TV listening and the loop setting then bear in mind that you need to remove the battery cover to switch between these settings.
